NFL Jabber 5/24/07

A small Seattle soda company has beaten out Coke to be served at Seahawk games.

The Saints discovered one draft pick in a bar having beers.

Drew Rosenhaus wants to remind everyone that Kris Jenkins may be available in a trade.

"I don't have any insight on it, but what I've heard is he's definitely still on the market and for the right price, they would trade him," Rosenhaus said before speaking at a Charlotte Touchdown Club luncheon. "So it'll be interesting to see what happens."

Chad Greenway is ready to go for the Vikings this season.
"It's great to be back out here just running around and playing again," Greenway said Wednesday. "These first two (days) have really actually been pretty good considering I've been out for eight months."

I could not find the article they are using as a source but KFFL reports that Cory Dillion has not yet filed his retirement papers.

NFL | Dillon has not filed papers yet

Karen Guregian, of the
Boston Globe, reports unrestricted free-agent RB Corey Dillon (Patriots) has not filed his retirement papers with the league yet. Dillon's agent said he is leaning toward retirement, but would like to wait until summer to make a decision.

Braylon Edwards has made it to workout with the Browns.

Mike Ditka is not impressed with the NFL's effort to help retirees.

"I say this honestly, I don't know if 'a committee to explore' is going to cut it," Ditka said.
